Far from Any Road Festival presents
Colter Wall + Ian Noe
At just age 22, Colter Wall is a rising star in his native Canada and the US. His literate but gritty variation on the traditional sounds of blues & country has gained the respect of many established peers.
A seven-song EP, Imaginary Appalachia, released in 2015, earned him influential friends. Lucinda Williams invited him to open a show for her show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Rick Rubin signed him to a publishing deal and Steve Earle claimed, “Colter Wall is bar none the best young singer/songwriter I’ve seen in 20 years”.
Wall’s self-titled full-length debut is out now, produced by Dave Cobb and recorded in Nashville’s famed RCA Studio A. We expect big things from this young artist and are delighted to have him perform at Far From Any Road Festival.
