Meet the chef
Born in Oxford, Richard began his career as an apprentice at Oxford's Christchurch College. From there he progressed into the hotel industry fine-tuning his skills and earning himself the position of Sous Chef at the Yorkshire Hotel Harrogate.
At the age of 23 Richard secured himself the position of Head chef working for Emirates in Dubai. During his time in the Middle East he was awarded best small plates Dubai 2012.
Now back in the UK. Richard's passion for local produce and food bringing people together is shown in his menus here at the Wardrobe.
