Barista

Location: Livett’s Coffee Shop
Hours: Part-time | Early morning & weekend work required

Job Summary

Livett’s Coffee shop is looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team. We are hole-in-the-wall coffee shop that serves ethically sourced coffee and local produce 6 days a week. 

Reporting directly to Livett’s Manager, you will support the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of Livett’s helping to maintain high standards of quality, service, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Crafting specialty coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and specialty beverages to company standards.
  • Greeting customers, taking orders, answering menu questions, and providing recommendations.
  •  Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and focused
  • Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and ensuring full compliance with health & safety and legal requirements
  • Opening/closing the shop, which includes cleaning, setting up, cashing up & processing payments

About You

  • Proven experience working as a Barista 
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Creative, motivated, and able to work well under pressure
  • Entitled to one full weekend off every month

Chef

Location: The Wardrobe Café Bar & Jazz Club
Hours: Full-time | Evening & weekend work required

Job Summary

The Wardrobe Café Bar & Jazz Club is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our busy kitchen team. We serve modern British pub food six days a week in a vibrant and creative venue.

Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will support the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to maintain high standards of food quality, service, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation, service, and closedown of the kitchen

  • Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and ensuring full compliance with health & safety and legal requirements

  • Contributing creative ideas to new menus and supper clubs

  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and focused

  • Supporting the Head Chef and kitchen team as required

About You

  • Proven experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen

  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations

  • Creative, motivated, and able to work well under pressure

  • Flexible availability for evening and weekend shifts

  • Entitled to one full weekend off every month
